I am an internationally experienced Renewable Energy Finance & Investment Banking professional with a career spanning multiple global locations - most recently New Delhi, India as CFO for a Renewable Energy business.
My Investment Banking roles covered products including M&A, Straight & Structured Lending and Cross Sell across geographies (Tokyo, Singapore, London, Dubai, Delhi) with transactions originated and executed over a range of sectors including Infra, Energy, T&L, FIG, Consumer, Pharma & General Industrials. During this time, I worked with leading European, Indian and Japanese Investment Banks.
I am passionate about Renewable Energy (particularly Solar) as a source of future growth in installed capacity. Structuring, financing (both primary and refinance) and evaluating projects as well as creating larger platform/businesses are areas of strength.
My frequent articles on Solar finance and strategy have been published in The Economic Times, Energetica, Renewable Energy World and Solar Quarter. Through these writings I like to channel my domestic & overseas experience, combine it with insights developed working on both sides of the financing table and share the resulting unique perspectives on the sector with my readers. I have also featured as a Panelist at Brookings India on the subject of the challenges and realities of scaling Renewable Energy.
I graduated from highly regarded institutions in India & US (SRCC & Duke) and am also a UK FSA Approved Corporate Finance Adviser.
